Why Buy a Tatra Home?

I am pleased to write this reference for Stand Majerczyk of Tatra Valley Homes. I bought my house from him in June 2008 and am totally satisfied with the quality of workmanship. He has been a terrific builder to work with and has proven himself to be reliable and true to his word. I would buy another house from him in a heartbeat.

Stan this is just a letter to l let you know how pleased we are with the purchase of our "Tatra Valley Home".

While we searched for a home we checked out all the builders in the area (Durham) and went through a lot of homes. For us none of the other builders come close to you for quality workmanship and style. We wanted a 4 bedroom home with double garage that had a few upgrades and were shocked at the boring designs and poor quality of some of the houses we viewed.

This home is unique and stylish in comparison to all the other homes we viewed. Your large archways and 9 foot ceilings and attention to small details definitely separate it apart from all the "cookie cutter" builders out there nowadays. We immediately loved the feel of the house as soon as we walked in, wide open spacious and it had a real European feel to it. I have had many friends and family visit and some are very knowledgeable in the building trades... all are amazed at the quality and attention to detail you put into this house.

What we find MOST IMPORTANT is your after sales service. We have been in this home now for 1.5 years and anytime we have called with an issue you have gotten back to us immediately. We have called you several times for minor questions or concerns and you have always called us back usually the same day... even on your holidays! We are thankful that you "stand behind what you build" and do everything possible to attend to the needs of your purchaser. In a day where people are quick to complain it is not often that people give credit where it is due. We just wanted you to get the credit you deserve for building such a solid and beautiful house and for backing it up, answering questions, or showing up on our doorstep whenever we asked you to. You have always been great to deal with and we will always recommend you to anyone we know who may be thinking of buying a home.

I know you are at this point considered a "small builder" but we are sure with your quality work and After Sales Service your business will only grow."

My husband and I were in search of a home we could stay in for many years. When we discovered Tatra Valley Homes, I knew at first sight this was the one. This moderate sized home had great functionality that was filled with quality and complimented by a European touch.

During the Purchasing Phase the home showed as per the specifications in the plan. What you saw is what you got, which meant the many standard features were upgrades for other builders. We then were able to meet and talk to the builder, Stan Majerczyk. Stan walked us through the model home showing us the many details of his workmanship with pride. I felt we were in this together. Stan ensured us many times that was willing to work to make us happy. When we put in our offer to purchase we had several modifications and upgrades. Stan accepted our offer without hesitation.

We were excited to move onto the Construction Phase. Stan was on site daily to ensure the workmanship was up to the high standards he had promised. On our frequent visits to the site, we were able to speak with many of the construction crew, all who commented they enjoyed working with Stan, because he had respect for the skilled trades they brought to the end product. When we saw an opportunity for a few additional upgrades that were not in the original offer, Stan was willing to modify the plans to suit our request, i.e. a laundry room rework, moving cable wires, adding receptacles etc. I felt like this was a custom home.

In a very short time, the home was fully complete, on schedule and ready for the Occupancy Phase. Within the first month of move in we called Stan for a few normal minor adjustments. Response and resolution was immediate and to our satisfaction.

This letter serves as a reference letter for Tatra Valley Homes mainly Stan and Janina. Tatra Valley Homes were amazing to work with from start to finish. They accommodated my needs especially during the difficult situation I encountered when my old home deal fell apart and I needed adjustments to my deal.

Janina recognized my likes from the first day she met me and only offered things that were exactly my taste and budget. Stan was an absolute gentleman, very quiet demeanor who always wanted to make us happy and was proud to show off his work; he showed us a few other models to give us ideas apart from the model I chose. Although the model was beautiful, I wanted to make changes and Stan accommodated all of them to give me a customized dream home. Stan went above and beyond the call of duty and remain accessible to us even after moving in and up to now, almost 2 years later.

Tatra Valley Homes was very generous with square footage making each room (especially bedrooms) perfectly sized so every family member was happy with their room. I receive compliments from everyone who visits my home from the moment they reach the entrance with our nice open concept home.

As my needs change in life, I hope to work with Stan again in the near future for another home for me as well as one of my children. It's been a pleasure Stan and Janina, thank-you!

I would like to take the time to thank Stan from Tatra Valley Homes for building such a wonderful home for me and my family. We decided to purchase a new home from Tatra Valley Homes in early 2012, and our home was built in less than 6 months. We were fully engaged by the wonderful sales department throughout the entire process. Stan arranged for several on-site visits during the building phase to ensure that our needs were being met. At our request, he even made several minor alterations to the building plan to ensure our 100% satisfaction.

After we moved in, Stan's team were very responsive to address any of our warranty concerns. All issues were corrected promptly, and in a professional manner that suited our busy work schedules. Because of complications with the lawyer's office at time of closing, the funds at the bank were not released until the day after closing. Stan was very accommodating to our situation, and permitted us to store some of our possessions in the garage of the house that night. He definitely didn't have to do this, but it shows his commitment to customer service!

If my wife and I were build another new home, the only builder that we would contact would be Stan from Tatra Valley Homes! We highly recommend the service he provides.
